WRT Board Chair Volunteer 

Waiheke Resources Trust (WRT) is seeking a new board member to support the important sustainability efforts that enhance Waiheke’s environment. This position is a pathway to the Chairperson role.  

Our WRT Board members are committed volunteers who add their unique skills to specific roles, sub-committees and/or special projects of their choice.

About the Chairperson role:

  • 10-12 hours per month on average for board meetings and other projects you are drawn to support
  • Voluntary position
  • Provides leadership for the board and governance for WRT
  • Contribute to the friendly and collaborative ethos of the organisation
  • Ensure that the services offered by WRT are compatible with the Trust’s purposes and goals
  • Ensure that WRT’s projects are appropriate, effective and relevant to the changing needs of the Waiheke community
