WINE BOTTLE CAP DROP OFFS
Caps for cash…
You’re invited to take part in the Waiheke wine bottle cap drop off initiative — an island-wide wero for the community to sort their caps and take them to the Resource Recovery Shop so the proceeds can go to local charity Jassy Dean Trust.
Waiheke Resources Trust and Island Waste Collective have partnered to collect the island’s wine bottle caps, sell them to a metal scrap dealer so they can be recycled, and make sure that 100% of the proceeds reach Jassy Dean Trust.
This initiative empowers everyone in the community to support Jassy Dean Trust by collecting their wine bottle caps and taking them to 6 Tahi Rd. Whether you’re a restaurant that serves wine, a group of friends having a party, a winery, or whānau who save your bottle caps and drop them off once a year, you can contribute to this project.
Together, we’ll impact the lives of tamariki for the better and help the environment by recycling.

We want all of your aluminium wine bottle caps. (No corks, steel, beer caps etc, please!)
